"I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" is a song by the American punk rock band the Ramones. It was released in the US in 1976.[1] It is the fourth track on their debut album, Ramones.
The song was recorded by Per Gessle in 2001, as a tribute to Joey Ramone who died in 2001, for the album, The Song Ramones the Same, as well as by Screeching Weasel on Ramones (Screeching Weasel album), and by Pete Yorn on We're A Happy Family: A Tribute to the Ramones.
